Hadrian, 117-138. As (Copper, 27 mm, 10.58 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 125-126/7. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. SALVS AVGVSTI / S - C / COS III Salus standing front, head to left, feeding serpent rising from altar with her right hand and holding scepter in her left. BMC 1349. Cohen 1357. RIC 828. A well struck example with an exceptional portrait. Minor corrosion and with a few light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
